Wifi Tethering unstable 1.1.9.28

Since the latest update (1.1.9.28) the tethering tool has two flaws, both of which are rather annoying: - devices can't connect even though ssid/password are entered correctly (results in random error messages) - the phone reboots after I stop the tethering service - I use this feature regularly on trips, would be nice if it could be fixed as soon as possible.
